Hotsync/Intellisync problems: multiple entries

Hi all,

I've encountered a Hotsync problem between my SJ20 and Outlook. Occasionally (read: once and a while), I will hotsync and find that Outlook wants to make mulitple additions to my Clie's Datebook... like 20 or 30 copies of several past appointments. It's often but not always an appt with a weekly repeat.

The only way to get around this has been to let Intellisync add the 50-90 additions to my Clie, then delete each one by hand (Arrggghh!). These only seem to involve appointments that have already happened. Then all is Ok... until it happens again (!)

Anybody know what's happening here?

BTW, I have my Intellisync configured to transfer appts 60 days before-to-90 days after today (I sometimes need to know when I last saw somebody).

I'm not sure what's happening, but instead of letting the hotsync add the duplicate appointments, hotsync again with a custom setup of 'handheld overwrites desktop'. That should stop you from having to delete the duplicate appointments.

Actually, I have "handheld overwrites desktop" as the normal setup... And in the Palm desktop, I also have "Clie wins" whenever there is a conflict about what's right.

Strangely, these multiple appts do not ever appear in my desktop Outlook calendar. My desktop shares my calendar with others in my office, so they may be there invisibly... but you can't see them so you can't delete them.
