hi guys,
im so excited and at the same time lost with my new palm t3, that i dont know what to do.

i consider myself as an advanced pc user, so whoever wants explain something to me, dont worry in using technical terms with me.

ok, im a newbie with palm and the pda industry (ok, ive done loads of reading) but have never had the chance to own one till today.

i would like to know what are teh first steps to follow when i get a palm i.e. when i install my win2k everytime, i always install motherboard drivers, service packs, bla bla bla... what do i need to with a Palm TT3, i have already installed the TT3 update from the palmone website.

i have also had some problems because at first i choose spanish as the language to be used in my palm (panish is my first language) but then decided that almost all software comes in english, so whe i installed the TT3 update i choose english. know i have some applications (like the config menu) that comes up in spanish... is there any way that i can FORMAT 100% my palm again in order to start from zero.

i would really appreciate if someone could help me. right now i feel like the first time i ever had a computer (an old 386). it was all trial and error, and that was very time consumming!!

thx guys

toni

I think if you do a hard reset, it'll ask you for language again.

im getting the language problem after a hard reset.
if i do a hard reset do i need to re-install the tungsten t3 update once more?

Did you really do a hard reset (push and hold the on/off button and push the reset button; hold both pushed until the display is on again)?

You don't have to re-install the T3Update (it is in the FlashROM) but the rest will be gone.
