Does anyone have any experience with these units I am assuming it will work with a T3 as they do work with the M500 series.

Just wondering how well they work and their maps etc.

Any other units you recommend I look at, which are resonably priced.

Cheers

I just bought a T3 to replace my c505 and my Magellan sled for the 500 series works just fine.
Well...
It works with Mapopolis just fine. (at least with the temporary maps) Navman (for Palm OS4 and below) and Streetfinder both won't run.
Also, you can't open the slide with it in the sled, so you have to use the on screen writing if you are going to input any text/numbers.
I have just tested Mapopolis today and I think it's going to be worth buying the map pack, unless someone has reason to tell me not to.

Thanks that helps, I will look at some other options.

I suggest you check out the GPSPassion forums (http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/default.asp?CAT_ID=5) for a wealth of related information. The link above is to their Mapopolis forum. I've read at least one thread there about using the Magellan sled with Tungstens. Also browse through the threads about the Mapopolis Navigator application which isn't working well with Tungstens or Clie UXs. You may want to buy the older non-Navigator maps for Mapopolos 5.19 now and then later upgrade to the Navigator maps when they get the bugs worked out of the Navigator application. The older Mapopolis 5.19 application works great on Tungstens, but doesn't have voice prompting or dynamic routing.
