1. When my wife, on her T|T, is doing BlueChat with me (on my T|T3) in the next room, her T|T keeps crashing (sudden soft reset with no fatal error dialog or anything) or dropping the connection. Any ideas?

2. Her T|T suddenly won't beam or receive beaming. It's turned on, but when I beam to her, it won't detect her, and when she tries beaming to me, hers won't detect mine. It must be hers, because my T3 and my m130 communicate fine. Any suggestions?

3. I use Minimusic NotePad for writing MIDI on my Palm, and it syncs beautifully to my desktop, but the sync is only 1-way right now. I'm looking for a player that'll allow me to copy some MIDI files to my SD card, then playback on my Palm. If it can handle MP3's, you'd think it could handle simple MIDI, right?

4. My T3 is turned off, but occasionally (seemingly randomly), it'll start blinking: the screen comes on for a second, off for 2-3 seconds, repeat. Generally, I can turn it on & back off again, and that takes care of it, but any idea what's causing it?

1. No idea about that one. I suggest you go in the same room as your wife and talk to her instead! :D

2. Is her TT overclocked/underclocked using Lightspeed or any tool of the same kind? A colleague of mine had the same issue and solved it by putting his Palm back to the right speed. I suppose it changes the timing of the IR port.

3. To play "simple MIDI", you need a sound bank, as MIDI files contain only instructions on the notes to play (e.g. "make a D for a trumpet for 1/2 second). ittyMIDI (http://www.ittymidi.com/) apparently can do that but I never tried it.

4. Known bug. Do you have a birthday in the Agenda in the 1st week of January 2004, with the reminder X days before so it's still in 2003? This confuses the T3. Remove the reminder for this/these birthday(s).

For Item #1, I would try installing the Tungsten T Update (if you haven't already done so). This update resolves various Bluetooth issues that may be causing problems for you.

palmOne Tungsten T Update (http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/tungstent_update.html)

By the way, I assume you have tried to soft reset the devices.

doulos, with Contacts5 is there any way to increase the font size of the text at the bottom (ie the various tele ph nos that appear at the bottom for each contact as you scroll)?. I'm not referring to the Font choice in the drop down menu. I use DateBK5 and it is finally working great, but I would really like to also use it with C5 but not if my old eyes can't easily read the numbers!!...TIA
