After grappling with the depressing kludge that was AvantGo and tweaking about with the functional-but-fiddly iSilo/iSiloX combination, I thought I'd give Handstory a go - and I'm mightily
impressed!

It's web clipping is incredibly fast and can be easily set up to download at set times - without any faffing about with scripts. I had it up and running in minutes and the viewer is miles better than AvantGo's low-res monstrosity

But where the program REALLY shines is its desktop integration. If I want to grab text off a website/document/text file, all I have to do is highlight and copy it, click on the handstory icon in my tray and it's done!

Even better - if I've got a meeting and need a map, I can go to some place like Multimap.com, find the map I need, right click and Handstory automatically converts it and downloads it to me Clie at the next sync!

(The image viewer isn't a patch on Acid Image/Splash, but it's perfect for quickly grabbing images you need to carry around with you - and it syncs very fast indeed - so much so that I thought it wasn't working at first)

Oh, and it also reads eBooks! And only weighs 200k!

Short of the software going cataclysmicly wrong in after a few uses (that's certainly happened in the past!), I can thoroughly recommend this software suite.

And at $19 (PalmGear offer) it was a bargain!

Yep! Handstory is a well kept secret :)  Seriously, it is a fine app for a variety of reasons. I have been using it for at least two years now.
