Memory Expansion

I have a m500, and want to expand it's memory. Will a SanDisk Secure Digital disk work, or do I have to go with Palm's disk? If the SanDisk will work, is there any formatting involved? I have had my Palm for a year, and just really getting into using it, and with only 8mb storage, I need more.

You can use the SD Card. I had an m505 and used a 64mb card. Worked just great. I think you can use up to a 258mb card without any problems.

I would stay away from SanDisk cards. Their performance is somewhat lacking when used with Palm devices. I would suggest using another brand (Lexar, Panasonic, Kingston, SimpleTech, Toshiba).

Thanks for the input. Since I posted the original question, I was able to pick up a Lexas 256mb card for just $49 after rebate! What a deal! Too bad Office Max only had one remaining. Thanks again.
