View Full Version : Versamail Sync Issue

I am having a problem with VersaMail and Outlook. Everything syncs fine to the T3, but if I delete an email on the T3 it doesn't delete it from Outlook the next time I Hot Sync. Any ideas? The support I have found for VersaMail so far is poor unless I am missing something obvious.

You must be using a sync-only account. I saw something over at Brighthand from Palm that acknowledged that this is a problem. No word on when or if it will be fixed. It does work if you use aregular account (where you enter your SMTP info). HTH

Thank for the help/suggestion, but what do you mean about a sync-only account? I do not use a server, my email is either sent directly through a GPRS account or is hot synced, am I missing something?
I am having the same problem with deleting messages. When I delete the message in VersaMail, it does not get deleted on my PC which is using Outlook.
I have called Palm Support three times so far, but I get the standard run-around. I am a first time Palm user and am getting frustrated with the poor service. The instructions I get from the support people don't even match what actually happens with VersaMail 2.6.1 that came with my T3. Looks like the Support people are using an earlier version of VersaMail.
Currently quite disappointed with the poor support from Palm.

Here (http://discussion.brighthand.com/palmhandhelds/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51760&highlight=Sync+only) is the BrightHand thread where Palm acknowledges that a sync-only account will not work with Versamail.
