I know this is VERY basic but for those who don't know...
I keep on reading complains about the power button so here is a tip for you if:
1) You dont use the record button.
2) You have a 3rd party launcher
Just set the record button to your 3rd party launcher (prefs -> buttons) that simple eh? if you prefer some programs/games set it to that...
I havent tried this (because i use the default launcher) but im sure it will work
Hope i can help some soul out there

I haven't tried it yet either, but one of the first things I did was remap my voice recorder button to Palm Reader Pro - eBooks are one of my biggest uses of my PDA, and now I just click voice record and I'm right back where I left off in the last book I was reading. =)

I turn mine on/off using a long press of the select button via ZLauncher's option.
With no special button reassignments, I simply press the select button and then "OK" the "Current Time" screen.
bttoggle allows you to turn on by pressing the select button of the 5-way. I then use the power-off widget of Zlauncher. Never touch the power button at all but will most likely wear out the 5-way instead LOL

I have remapped all my buttons, but didn't think about putting my SilverScreen on the voice recorder button. Launches directly to main screen. Thanks!

Both of these are great options that I had not know about (or maybe I knew and forgot:( ) Thanks for the info:)

Just need to re-map the record button to do a pagedown function (for eBooks) and I will be VERY happy. Any ideas???
