Hi,

the new version 3.0 is out.

You can download it at pdassi.de:

http://pdassi.de/product.php?prod_id=13152

Many new functions:
- frensh as 3rd language
- card support
- bluetooth send and ir-beam of skins, backgrounds and T3AgendaBG itself to grow up the T3AgendaBG-Community ;)

Have a look and a lot of fun.

BTW: Are there any new backgrounds ?

Hi Toem!

I don't know if I did something wrong or not, but after deleting my older version and installing the new one - all the buttons are blank?

It shows my DIA skins, but all the buttons to do stuff are blank - no descriptions on what to do. And when I press one - the subsequent screen is blank with blank buttons too.

help?

Hi Dwayne,

do you have de-installed the old version or only deleted with a file manager ?

Installation Guide when you have installed an older version without new installation of skins and basckgrounds:

1. Activate the original skin and the original background
2. Delete the following files with a file manager like filez or fileprog:
- F3T3AgendaBG
- F3T3AgendaStatus
- NSBSystemLib (if you didn't have any other NSBASIC/Palm-App)
3. Install the new version

Thank you - the detailed instructions took care of my problem.

I deleted the old app using Launcher X delete, app and preferences.

Doing it the way you described worked perfectly. Thanks!

No problem.

The reason for the empty buttons are changes in the Status-Database and change the internal variable for the different languages to compare to the Pref number in PalmOS-Standard.

Great job on the program! I just have one question. I had the original DIA skin active and pressed something (I thought it was import but I don't see that button right now) and a copy of the original skin was created. I tried to delete it but got Error:518 F3T3AgSkinOriginal. I then tried renaming the skin to duplicate and then deleting it, but got the same message. I can copy this skin to the card with no problem but I jkust can't delete it. Is there any way to get rid of it? (Note that it doesn't have a dot beside it like other skins in RAM. And I can preview this skin with the "Show" button.)

Thanks!

Hi,

thats weird.

The Import-Button is only shown if T3AgendaBG find a new skin in RAM and it has not the same size and creation date as the active skin.

I have a look and have to bring an update,

Hi,

iīve updated T3AgendaBG to V3.1 in solving the problem Vidge had with the Original-Skin.

You can download it at pdassi.de:

http://pdassi.de/product.php?prod_id=13152

If you have also the problem, please delete the following files with a file manager:

F3T3AgSkinOriginal
F3T3AgSkinOriginal_enUS

If you need more help with that, please send a mail to T3AgendaBG@forum330.de

Curious,
is there a similar program for Tungsten E users?

Thanks

Hi,

you can use T3AgendaBG also on the Tungsten E for the Agenda Backgrounds.

But you can only use T3AgendaBG-Backgrounds or you have to edit the backgrounds with an editor before you install them.

thanks for the reply, what sort of editor would be appropriate to use in order to comply with the programs image format?

Thanks

This is not true, a tt3background works on a TE without adapting it. Did you test it? I did :)
The only thing you could change is the size because making "invisible" area's white will spare some kb's :)

An original background is working directly on the Tungsten E ? Thatīs new. My test backgrounds are working not on the Tungsten E because the Tungsten E had another Databasename for the Backgrounddatabase. It is case-sensitive. Because of that i have an extra routine in T3AgendaBG for the Tungsten E-compatibility.

T3: DatebookAgendaBG-PDat
E: DateBookAgendaBG-PDat

It is only the b/B in Datebook, but in my tests the background with the lower b was not working on the Tungsten E.

If you want to edit that, please use a Hexeditor to change the name (first letters in the database)

Toem -

I am getting error 9473 and error 537 when I try to copy or activate the Vintage Teak Yellow skin of Velo and the IceWind Blue skin from Mythofacto.

I have installed the 3.1 version of your T3AgendaBG and also had the same problem with 3.0

Help?

I may have figured it out on my own -

Is there a limit to thenumber of skins that T3AgendaBG can handle at once?

I deleted some of the skins and now it is working ok.....If this is the case - can you please make it so it can handle more?

Thanks Toem!

Hi Dwayne!

There was a problem with my Vintage Teak Yellow DIA skin earlier. I turned out that the name of the skin and the actual filename of the skin was to long. I have uploaded a new version with a shorter name to Palmgear a couple a weeks ago so you can download again if you have an old version.

Hi,

@wilsondm2: Do have to try to activate the Skins directly from memory card ?

I have copied most to the card - but when I reached the Icewind Blue nd the Vintage Teak Yellow - I could't copy, delete, anything - I would get those errors.

But - when I deleted some skins, then I could use those skins.
