Okay, when I ordered my NZ90 from Amazon, they also had a PEGA-DC10 Car Battery Adapter listed as an available accessory that was compatible with the NZ, and ordered one. Just opened it and the the first "Before use" sentence reads, "This car battery adapter cannot be used with the PEG-N or PEG-S series Clie handhelds."
WTF??? Is this thing really incompatible and what about the AC travel adapter...is that one incompatible, as well? How do you recharge your unit when traveling? Thanks!

PEG N and PEG S series are different from the NZ series. That it doesn't work with N or S doesn't mean it won't work with NZ.

I think I have figured this out. After searching a bunch of Sony sites, it IS combatible. However, I have to connect it via the cradle and not directly into the handheld for use with the NZ90. Glad I will be able to use this, as I am the mother of 3 year old triplet boys...if I had to endure a long car trip without my PDA and Acid Solitaire, I would go nuts! LOL

You mean you can never plug power directly into the unit? Is that not very inconvenient? So if you want to listen to some mp3's on the way to work, you can't keep this thing charging in an innopocket case? Yeouch! I hope I don't have to stop suddenly...

FWIW - I was at Fry's a couple of days back and picked up a Belkin Car Charger cable. Comes with adapters for Sony T series (compatible with NR/NX/NZ), Palm, and Visor. Added bonus is that it is also a USB data cable (USB socket in the car charger plug takes the actual cable), and can charge via the USB port (USB delivers 5V, the standard Sony power brick deliver 5.2V - pretty damn close). Not a bad device at all.
