I am trying to like TealScript because I gave up on Graffiti 2 but I have some issues. I have TealScript set so that I can write anywhere on the screen and the biggest issue is that I can't use Note Pad. Whenever I try to jot something down in Note Pad my Palm thinks that I am trying to write Graffiti on the screen. If I turn off the option in TealScript and try to use the Palm's button to allow me to write anywhere I get TealScript recognition in the virtual Graffiti area and Graffiti 2 recognition everywhere else. Is there anyway to fix this?

I agree, this is an issue with TealScript. There is one unique option that they provide in the "Screen Writing Prefs". You can check a box that states "On only if active text field". I have found a few apps where this option works very well, but that option does not help you in context of the NotePad issue. Write now the best you can do is tinker around with the timing and pixel settings that are also found in "Screen Writing Prefs". Maybe if you fine tuned those settings a bit it might help. I hope that they can add implementation of the screen writing icon in the VG status bar on the T3's, that would be best. I'll email the developers.

I agree, use of the icon on the status bar would be best. I did find that if you check the "On only if active text field" option like you mentioned that you can use NotePad. You just have to sort of tap and hold on the drawing area of the screen until the focus shifts from the title area at the top to the drawing area at the bottom. Does that make sense? Its kinda hard to explain.
Did you email the developers? Did you get a reply?
