I'm about to dive in and purchase a T3. I understand that it comes with it's own conduit set as opposed to the normally bundles PocketMirror.

I have PocketMirror from my old Palm IIIc and much preferred it to Intellisync that came with my T665.

Does PocketMirror still work with the T3 and the new built-in apps? Are there any issues I should be aware of?

Thanks

Bob

Pocket Mirror will work, but it will not sync the new PIM additional fields. Neither will the current version of Intellisync. Only the new Palm conduits will do that, but there are problems with them as well.

i have a T|E and went back to using the PocketMirror conduits without any problems. The Professional version lets you sync different folders, and I get no dupes (I can't say the same for the Palm Outlook conduits).

Had same question when i bought t3.

no problems in synching with pocketmirror-- not as fast as earlier palm models because of the weird db mapping of the new pim apps in the t3, but at least with pocketmirror you get progress of the synch, while the native palm conduit just gives you the hotsynch icon with the arrows moving, wiht no real feedback to whether you are close to being done with synch.

but no problems with pocketmirror at all -- even before i upgraded to newest pocket mirror version (BTW I'm using the professional version of pockemirror)

I found PM 3.1.6 Pro much faster than the Palm ones, and no problems so far other than an initial install issue

I'm not overly concerned about not syncing the new fields as long as I don't lose anything. I always back up to the Palm Desktop as well as syncing to Outlook. That's because I don't use Outlook Tasks or Notes.

So a question from two sides: if I have multiple addresses on the T3 but not in Outlook, will I lose the addresses on the T3 if I sync? And vice versa, if I have multiple addresses in Outlook but not on the T3, will I lose the addresses in Outlook?

Thanks

Bob

PS I checked the Chapura site and they say that PM Std 3.1.6 supports the T3 but not the extended fields. They say a future releases will do that but they don't say when.
