I am a recent Clie NX80V to Tungsten T3 convert. One thing I noticed, actually two, are the fact that in Kinoma Producer (v2.0) the one that comes in the install CD, when you transfer movies to the Palm, it does NOT give you the option to select any settings, such as fps, size of screen or anything else. Thus, with this precary method my movies don't look so good on the T3, as they did on the Clie. You have to upgrade to the new version 2.0.4 for $30.00 in order to have those "privileges". Am I missing something here?

The othet issue I noticed, is that the Palm did not come with any File Manager application (i.e. Clie Files), where you can move apps from Handheld to SD, or rename, or actually use the Palm as a card reader, like you can with the Clie. Am I also missing something here, or that's just the way they (Palm) ship their PDA's. I am not complaining at all here, just want to make sure I did not leave something un-installed from the CD.

Any comments are very welcomed.

I purchased the Kinoma 2.0.4 in an attempt to tweek the settings to get a better quality-smaller sized movie on my T2. I've tried many different settings and the bottom line is...that Kinoma isn't as good as Clie Movie converter/player. A buddy with a UX-50 can watch high quality video at about 2/3 the file size.

Filez is a pretty good free file manager application.

Unfortunately, I was suspecting that much. I thought the 400 Mhz processor would just blow Clie Movie out of the water....guess not!!

Thanks for the Filez info.
