Has anyone tried using ssh with it's treo 600 to access servers over GPRS connexion ?
If so how has It worked ?
From the server you have reached, has VT100 emulation been ok, have you been able to use all your keyboard keys (like | or ~ or \ ... ) ?
From the server you have reached have you been able to telnet to another machine.
I don't think port forwarding is enabled by ssh software on Palm OS ?
Any pointer and comments will be welcome.

any telnet / ssh clients that work on Treo 600 ?
Is "online" working ?
Hello, good news..
I have tried SSH on my treo 600.
TuSSH didn't work, but TGSSH did it. Now I can access my linuxbox in SSH1 (SSH2 not yet supported, but soon I hope).
My treo 600 is a GPRS type, and on CDMA I have heared that it works too.
However, with the TGSSH I need to type 'menu/K' each line written, else the keyboard doesn't work, but it's not a major problem, and will perhaps be fixed soon.
Very good point with TGSSH: you send your typed line only at the end of the line. This makes a lot of Kbytes spare, because normally a terminal sends one complete packet by key stroken, and gets some back. This makes normally a huge amount of traffic, but here it is avoided. Thus, you can make a major change on your linuxbox with a session for only 10 Kbytes (several commands like ls, apachctl graceful, etc..).
There are perhaps other programs that work better, but at least the Treo 600 SSH capability is OK on the GRPS and CDMA versions.
Hope this helps,
Daniel

I use both TGSSH and TuSSH with my Sprint Treo 600. Both work great.
