Power to Go

Has anyone had a problem with the Power to Go charger? I bought one to use with my M515. Charged it up, no problem, but when I plugged it into my Palm the readout went to 100% in about 3 minutes- but it discharged just as quickly. From then on the battery on the Palm would not hold a full charge. After some emails with Palm support, I did a battery reset (soft reset while the Palm is charging) and that solved the problem. I waited a week or so, and tried the Power to Go again. Same problem, same solution. I did ask Palm if it could be the Power to Go, and they said (of course) no, it had to be my Palm, and I should send it in for repair.

Now I have the T3 and I'm afraid to try the Power to Go, since it took about a month to get everything working properly with only an occasional crash.
Opinions??

Well, the only way you'll know if its the PTG or the Palm is if you try it with a different Palm right? My PTG does not behave the way you describe. It charges my Palm up no problems and the Palm charges and discharges at its normal rate.

I've not had any problems with the Power To Go either (I have a T2).

Maybe it's possible that there is a problem with the battery memory on your M515, maybe because it's an older unit.

Sorry I can't be of more help, but it would seem more likely to be a problem with the Palm rather than the charging unit.
