Well, I got DateBK5 to expand to full screen, but now I can't enter a new appointment!!!....I keep getting "Fatal Alert" message..."DataMgr.c Line 7399 DmWrite....."
Could my Palm software be corrupt?

That also can be a sign of corrupt preferences.

I'd highly recommend posting in the Yahoo group mentioned by someone in your other thread. If you post the information plus what version you're using and what handheld you have the programmer will generally answer within a day with a full set of instructions about how to go about deleting the preferences and/or reinstalling Datebk5.

You'll definitely get a more complete answer over there.

I have gotten this error before and the fix is pretty simple as long as you have not performed a hotsync since getting this error.

Perform these steps only if you have not hotsynced since getting the error.

1. - Delete the Datedk5DB & DatebookDB files from your PDA (use McFile or FileZ etc...)

2. - Perform a hotsync but customize the datebook hotsync settings (for that session only) to have the desktop overwrite the handheld.

That is all you need to do. If you had any appointments entered on your PDA that had been entered berfore you encountered this problem and had not yet been synced to the desktop, you will need to re-enter those appointments.

You should wait until the official release comes out.

You can't use both at the same time AFAIK. Are you syncing with the legacy conduit (Datebook) or the new one (Calendar)? Whichever one you are using, change it as above. Leave the other one at "Do Nothing."
