Well if you find it useful, then great.

But personally, the functionality is too limited to justify $5.95. I'd rather add a little more and buy Zlauncher, which can also hide unwanted apps p[lus do much more or wait for Jackflash to support the T3 and REMOVE the unwanted apps not just hide them. But as said, different peoples has different needs, if it work for you - great! It doesn't for me...

I am a long time user of Invisible (registered user) and I was very dissapointed in the lack of stability on the T3. I experienced frequent system crashes! I was forced to uninstall Invisible cause it would crash almost constantly. I emailed the author about it on numerous occasions and got no reply. I am still looking for a clone of this app that will work on my T3, cause I have about 6 apps I want to hide and I don't want to hafta load a facer utility like Zlauncher in order to do it. I am one of those people that actually likes the default launcher.

funny - Invisible works fine for me on my T3 so far. What kind of errors do you get?

Just about any aftermarket launcher allows you to define "hidden" categories/tabs. I drag all the unwanted junk to my "Archive" tab and hide it. Mission accomplished.

ZLauncher is not expensive, either, for example.... $12... and it comes with a whole whack of other useful capabilities. To me, that is a better solution than utilities that mess around with system settings, like "Invisible".

Just my $0.02.

Well actually I also have been a long time supporter of Invisible, and it does have a few major problems that are not apparent on all or visual to all.
I can offer a few suggestions.
1. ZLauncher will hide the unwanted icons, and offers a massive amount of additional features if wanted.
2. A newly released app called: Hide_Em, which is supposed to be able to hide those unwanted icons from the Palm launcher...
3. I believe I also read about another app called: cachdemo, not really sure about the details but both these can be found at PalmGear.com.
Just type in the name in their search engine and it should take yo to the app's..
Hope this helps.

Hide 'Em will not hide apps in ROM or FLASH. Invisible does.

I've never really played with the program 'Invisible'. Kinda' fancy, can scare somebody by hiding em all programs!

another way to hide the Quick tour that doesn't involve 3rd party programs. You need Filez, though. Here are the steps :
1-go to Filez, check the ROM checkbox, find the QuickTour App, and copy it to the SD
2-copy back from the SD to the Palm
3-select the QuickTour App in RAM, tap details, tap the "Attribute" Tab, check the Hidden Checkbox, tap save
4-Quick tour is invisible.

drawbacks :
*you have two "QuickTour" apps, one in ROM, the other in RAM.
(maybe it's possible to have the same result with a tiny app: change the name, type, creator, and version to match QuickTour attributes set it to "hidden"... I didn't tried yet, though)
*you have to do it again after a hardreset.

I tried with a tiny app that was already in ROM, TatooArtist (if someone can tell me what this app does?) and succeeded. If you just want to hide the Quick Tour app, you may not want to buy an app you'll use only once.

so in Filez copy "Tatooartist" to the SD, copy it back to RAM, change the name to "Quick Tour", the creator to "QKTR", check the hidden bit, and you're done for 0$.

Heh, that works quite nicely in the default launcher, however Silver Screen brings it back up again. Very sad.
