1src Forums - Voice Recorder Skipping Problem?

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I've been trying to record my lectures, but when I play them back it seems to skip every 5-10 secs or so. Its really annoying and makes understanding my prof nearly impossible ( not that its really possible while I'm there but thats what the recorder is for :) ) Frankly I'm really dissapointed with the performance of the T3 recorder for long recordings. Anyone have suggestions to improve the quality of the recording/playback?

I have a theory that since I'm recording directly to the SD card, the Palm may be lagging when copying to the SD thereby causing the skipping problem. I have the patch installed, but could there be something else affecting Voice recorder?

ok, I just tried recording to RAM and it seems to work fine. I think its just a problem with writing to the SD card. does anyone else have this problem? do we need to approach Palm about this for a patch?
