Is there a way to keep documents such as pdf files on the SD card and read them with Acrobat reader?
I can read word docs etc. with Documents to go but cannot see pdf's on the SD card. Is this possible? Do I have to put them in a special folder?

Acrobat reader will by default look into the Launcher folder.
However, you can change this in perference.

I put the pdf's in launcher and still can't read or find the docs. There is hardly any settings in preferences to change anything but how to tap for next page.

Palm Acrobat Reader doesn't read .pdf files. Actually it reads special .pdb files prepared on "Big Brother" (your PC). Shame to Adobe!

There´s an option in the PC Acrobat 4 Palm to write converted books to card. I also use the shrink pics feature.
Another possibility is to use 'RepliGo' although you have to convert the pdf, too.
I use both - depending on document.

XPDF is a freeware program that extracts proprietary adobe files. With the appropriate plug-in, it can convert the former adobe file into over 70 different formats. It is very fast, and as stated free (under ethics based licensing, GNU). You can. therefore, chose your format and synch it in that form to your Palm. Otherwise proprietary adobe files must be converted through adobe 6.0 on your PC and adobe's web DRM. It is easier to hire a monk to copy and illuminate the text for you.
As for Adobe's shame, take a second to thank science for Linux. Bill Gates didn't invent the internet, but I'm sure he appreciates our paying him for it anyway. Adobe just wants to grab it's piece of the pie before their utility becomes a standard offering in Windows 2005.

Good luck!
