Why does it suck so?
Just wondering. I got the T3 last night and I am anxious for a good case.

You can see exactly why I didn't like the case.

actually. i like the case. it's not that big. it still fits in a back/side pocket and it protects the palm pretty well. i don't like the big/bulky leather cases that others prefer. this case is VERY lightweight (whoever says it is heavy, what are you comparing it to?) and seems pretty durable to me. i also like the silver metal outside (black plastic inside). looks snazzy. it leaves the voice memo button free in case you want to use it without opening the case up. i don't need a case that carries credit cards, business cards, extra battery packs, the kitchen sink.
the palm will stay in it securely if you lock it in place (push your palm all the way in and let the hooks grab it).
i only use the case for transporting my palm (in my briefcase). when i'm at work it's in my hand or on my desk. at home it's either in the case or in use in my hand.
also, someone commented on why the SD cards are held in backwards. well. to prevent the little conacts from scrapeing the plastic over and over and getting worn away.

This is good to know.
I usually go out and buy the case right off the bat, but I heard so many different comments about this, I wanted to get some final thoughts on it.
Looks like I will pass on Palmones case.

Well Propotra have sent out here first batch of metal case orders, so I am eagerly awaiting its arrival.
Upon receiving I will post my thoughts, but I can tell you that it is lighter, and smaller then the Palm case.
Aren't they always!!!
