I, just as many of you, are probably dismayed at the fact that palmOne has released updated PIM apps for the newer Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E handhelds. Well, I recently purchased a T|E for my girlfriend and decided to try something I read in the Tungsten C forum at Brighthand.com.

Well, I was just "experimenting" to see if this would work with the Zire 71. It did. The apps work just like on my girlfriend's T|E. I cannot help you get the files, because that would not be very legal. Yet, I can tell you that the apps work if you follow the directions given on the link above. Just thought I would post this for those Z71 owners like me that wished to have the updated apps.
