VersaMail problem

Hi,
I have tried to add a new mailserver to my Versamail 2.6 only to be met by an error.....

Emul68kMain.c,Line:420,unimplementer instruction 4183 as address 0179FB6E

I have been able to add mailservers in the past, but now as I hit 'Done' I get an error.

Can anybody help me please?:confused:

email PalmOne support. they reply pretty fast. had a problem with Versamail too, and they gave me a solution (not very elegant... they reco I hard reset my palm and re-install 3rd party apps one by one... sigh...)

but at least they answer quick enough (in just 12 hrs!) =)

Most of the time that's all you can do. That's why it's imperative to have multiple rolling backups, and not the Palm desktop either. Gremlins crop up all the time with ALL PDA's, finding he culprit can be impossible to find. I use Crash Pro which usually traps the error and logs it along with the offending app.

I have got an email back from support who pretty much told me what I expected.....Hard Reset!

The email did go through all the steps required to ensure that I did not lose any of my data.

I have cleared my problem now and it feels good to clear out all the old 'bits' of programs and reinstatall only those that I actual use.

I did think about backing up, but have read that many do not yet backup the correct information for the T3. Besides, I miss the one I had on my Clie.
