Battery life

The battery can be charged via the USB port, or via the normal charger. The rate of charging is very different; via the USB port takes much longer. Will that have an effect on the life span of the battery?

I'm no battery expert, but I don't believe it will affect the life span of the battery. L-Ion batteries do not have a "memory", like NiCad batteries do. Using the AC charger is a fast steady charge where as the USB/Sync cable seems to provide a slow trickle charge.

Nice to have that trickle charge when you have a lot to sync.
