Hotsync error with card

I'm hotsync'ing .ogg files to my 256MB SD card in my T3. I'm using Quick Install and the files get there, but I see the following error in the hotsync log. Anyone know why?

HotSync operation started 11/22/03 15:50:57
- Installed file: 01-My Favorite Things.ogg to the SecureDigital (SD) Card
- Installed file: 03-Take Five.ogg to the SecureDigital (SD) Card
Install error: There is no card present in the Universal Connector-slot.
Install To Card synchronization failed
Conduit Error: Unknown error. (1000)

QuickInstall is unstable and very slow syncing files bigger than ~1MB to Card.
Use a Card-Reader or a 3rd person Software instead:
-Card Export
-SyncWizard
-Pilot Install (Freeware for non-commercial use)

If you are familiar with the Clie's Data Export, Card Export is like it.
You will be able to mount the card with the T3 in its cradle.
I have it, and have been happily using it for a while.
I also have a card reader, and would first direct you in that direction.
You can get a card reader for about $20.00...
Its well worth the cents...

I had the same problem and found it's due to an extra folder found under ..\Palm\<username>\CardInst\Slot-UniversalConnector.

After removing it my Hotsync resumes normal.
