Hi everybody!

I'm planning to buy the Tungsten T2 for christmas. I'd like to ask those who have one some questions..

First of all, as long as I'm a student, I'll bring it everyday at school and I'd like to know if the clear plastic cover is robust enough to absorb (little..) shocks in my pocket...

And second, because I spend most of the time outside (on week-ends  ), well I'd like to know if the visibility of the screen is quite good at the sunlight...

Thanks in advance! ;)

I don't like the plastic cover but it offers very decent screen protection and it prevents most of the buttons from being pressed. It's not meant to be a shock absorber, though.
Never had problems with the screen outdoors; just play around with the brightness control slider to find the optimal visibility setting.

The Palm hard case has been great for me, and far better than the clear plastic cover, which lasted one day. Slips into jeans and scrubs pocket easily, protects my T2 adequately. The SD card and stylus can fall out though, so have to get used to watching for that.

I've had no problems with the screen outdoors.

I like the clear plastic cover of T2 much more than the leather cover of the T3. For information viewing etc, if you don't need to use the stylist, you can navigate to what you want without taking off the plastic cover. It is decent protection without making it too thick.

Anyone know if someone makes a wallet that can hold a T2/T3 plus the other stuffs that normally are in a wallet, such as paper money, credit cards, etc?

spend the couple extra bucks and buy the T3. You won't regret it.
