Like so many others, I was frustrated at using the Palm Wireless Keyboard in left handed mode. No offense to left handers (my mother and brother are both left handed) but I wanted to use my T3 in RH mode with the keyboard.

Choosing function over looks I decided to make a modification to my wireless keyboard. I pulled out my jigsaw and simply cut away the "lip" on the right hand side of the T3 "stand" on the keyboard. I left a little nub where the black "clicker" is located but cut everything else down flush.

The arm will extend a bit further to the right and the system is sensitive enough that so far it works great in RH mode. It also makes the screen a bit more centered for use.

Sorry, my digital camera is in my office but I hope the description above gives you an idea.

The keyboard doesn't look as nice in closed position, but it is dramatically more functional for my use.

Enjoy!

Well, I read somewhere that pressing Func. + # will flip the screen, but I am not really sure if that works since I don't have the IR keyboard yet.

Really? I'll try that out if Amazon ever delivers my wireless.. ;)

How are those wireless keyboards.
I was looking into one and was wondering, what frequency they traveled in.
I have my BT up and working, and I am now working on getting my NX80v WiFi up and working in my system...
Along with all my other wireless app's phones, remotes, BT phones, whatever, I was starting to think that pretty soon I am going to run into a conflict between devices.
What do you think???

No need to physically alter your wireless keyboard. Simply press
Alt+ DEL to rotate the display 90 degrees to the left (eliminates the need to change the handedness setting in prefs). Pressing again continues to rotate the display.

Simple solution that should help overcome wireless keyboard objections.

Poor guy must have read that and felt pretty crummy, huh... :p

Sounds like the kind of luck I'd have!

I've used the wireless keyboard in conjunction with BT internet connection to my cell phone. That's 3 kinds of wireless running simultaneously, plus I was at Starbucks so there's a wifi network running there too, and someone was probably microwaving something. It all worked fine! ;)

Great tip on the Alt + Del and it will be useful to many. I still like having my screen centered on the "altered" wireless.

Thanks again for the tip, however. Didn't read the docs. Just like to experiment with things.

Cool. I'm glad it worked out better for you anyway.

After experimenting a bit more with the Alt Del command on the wireless keyboard, I've found some apps that don't "play nice with that key combo." The two I've found so far are DayNotez and ThoughtManager. They work fine when used with the left-handed or right-handed settings, but not with the Alt Del key combo.

Hmmmmm...

Perhaps someone else has another solution to share on the boards or may have other software that aren't cooperative with that function.
