I posted this at brighthand.com, but unfornately no one would reply. Hope I have better luck here.

I've been a proud owner of a T3 for 2 months and everything with my syncronization has worked perfectly. However, the past few of days I've noticed that the calendar has not been syncing with Outlook and receiving the following error message in the hotsync log. It appears from investigation that my tasks, notes, and contacts are syncing correctly.

HotSync operation started 11/20/2003 8:16:53 AM
Outlook Calendar

Outlook Calendar synchronization failed

The updated conduit on the Palm website has been installed for several weeks. I reinstalled it two days ago to see if that would correct the issue, but no luck.

This morning I uninstalled all Palm software on the desktop, deleted the Palm directory on the desktop, peformed a hard reset of the T3, reinstalled the Palm software, and updated conduit software. Unfornately, I'm still receiving the same error. Is there a way to obtain more detailed information (registry setting?) from hotsync as what is failing. The PDA does sync perfectly for me at home. I do not normally sync at home, but was curious to see if I could because of this issue. I'm totally confused.

Appreciate the assistance.

Hi there,
maybe you should try to uninstall the PalmDesktop again, delete the palm directory and delete all conduit registry entries by using the program "regedit.exe". You should find the entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S.Robotics\Pilot Desktop.
There they are called Application0, Application1 etc.
Remember: Before you mess with the registry make a backup of it.
