Does anyone know whether the AOL 3.0 client for Palm OS 3 and 4 will work okay on Palm OS 5? When you look on the Handango page to purchase it, it says AOL has not certified it for 5, but I was wondering if anyone tried it before I shell out $20 for the program. Thanks.

instead of paying you should go to the english website where you can get the aim and aol palm aps for free.

I already went to the UK site, but it only supports dialing and not through the Bluetooth connection to my phone. I also don't think it's equivalent to Ver. 3.

Hi

Both the UK v2.0 and US version v3.0 (handgo) of AOLmail work on the NX70 but trying to connect via either IR or Blue tooth in the UK is hit and miss due to the UK AOL setup does not like low speeds ie 9.6kb. even with GPRS still intermitten.

I am going to try pretec CF modem in the next few days

i use to have it on my nx70, but i tell it was very unstable and it crashed many times, where i had to do a hard reset.

I have been using verichat in the meantime..i was talking to the developers and hoping to get trillian for palm, this way can get icq/aol/msn/yahoo

but dont think it will happen.
