Refurbs ALREADY???

Now this is quick...is this good or is this a bad sign?

palmOne, via their refurb store at Overstock.com, is already selling refurbs of the T|T3 and T|E!

Well the T3's are being sold new for $339.99 at BB .
I would not recommend purchasing a refurb as the same price as you can get a new one..
Not good math.

I know I've said this sort of thing before but I'm certain something is afoot - call me a conspiracy theorist if you wish :D

I can't believe that demand has outrun the supply in the UK to such an extent that www.dabs.com, Dixons (my local one anyway), carphonewarehouse don't have any stock nor dates for restocking (3-4weeks for Dabs). www.expansys.com in the UK currently don't have stock and have been reporting 3-4days availability for "days". John Lewis locally are running low - although they have reserved me a unit at the £299 price.

It seems to me that PalmOne is allowing suppliers to empty their current stocks without replenishing. So you can get the T3 where original stocks are available but once they are gone ... you've got to wait.

It all may mean absolutely nothing at all but I'm waiting for new stock to arrive and finding out if there is a difference in the new units - even though I can walk into John Lewis' right now and pick one up.

One thing is for sure. If PalmOne are making any changes they would not release the information because of the potential consequences. So we'll never know for sure until someone gets a new stock item and compares it to the initial units.

Hopefully the new stock will arrive before Christmas coz that's what I'm waiting for.

There are some in the UK and cheaper than most.

I ordered my T3 on Thursday afternoon and received it less than 24 hours later - all for just £291.94. :cool: :cool: :cool:

Hmm, interesting, but since the SDIO slot is now fixed, I can't find any fault with my T3. :)
