I don't think so. But anyway normal version of Palm Reader is free, just another program to eat more memory from your palm.

Lots of places to get books in other Palm Doc formats. Here's a link to many of Twain's books including the Prince and the Pauper

Bryus is fromatting books tothe Palmreader format, and doing an excellent job of it, thanks!

Yes, always put your eBooks on the card. Palm Reader Pro is under 300k, but the eBooks can run well over 1MB, in some cases over 2MB.

Here is the fairly formated Palmdoc version of The Prince & Pauper.
My formating will get better as I practise for a larger audience. Bookmarks/chapter headings will be soon, but until then use find -> chapter [i]x[i/] in the reader of your choice.
The bookmarks is hampered by not all readers storing the information in the same place....

I have tried in with the following readers Deep Reader (http://www.rzanerutledge.com/deepreader/), Palm Reader (http://www.palmdigitalmedia.com/products/palmreader/free), Isilo (http://www.isilo.com/download/) and my personal favoutie TiBR (http://www.indevsoftware.com/products/tibr/).

Hope you enjoy.

Most of the ebooks I've gotten are in the 250 to 450k range. Only one was close to 2 meg, and it had photos. Another was over 2Meg, but it was actually a 5 novel SET in one file. (NOT a good Idea for PalmDigitalMedia to do...)
