Which MP3 player ?

I know there are 3: MMPlayer , AeroPlayer and PocketTunes.

is there any other ?

Which one is best for my new Treo 600 ?
Any idea ?


I think MMPlayer also has movie capability. (Divx, etc..)
is it a good choice with this plus capability ?

The only "mp3" player that works with the Treo600 is Pocket Tunes (bts it also does shoucast streaming!). MMplayer also can play mp3's as well as other media on the Treo600. But overall, PT has a much better interface and options for music playback.

FYI, kinoma player is also compatible with the Treo600 for its proprietary format...

what about aeroplayer ?
doesn't it work on Treo ? (I'd thought Treo's sound API was common sound API)

Nope Aeroplayer doesn't work yet with the Treo600...maybe in the future...

Pocket Tunes worked fine for me when I hotsynced my music to it (which obviously took ages!) Then I tried putting MP3 on using a type of card reader, and now PT can't locate the music inside the "Audio" folder which I haven't done anything different with from when I hotsynced music... Any ideas?

I still need to try reinstalling PT - Have tried a soft reset.

I figured it out - I tried all the controls, and one of them gives you access to the SD card. I made a new player list and put all the songs I wanted into that, and that seems to have done the trick.

Just in case anyone ever comes back here...

Okay, need to eat my words a bit hear. After some research I found out that Areoplayer indeed does work, but will not cut off during incoming calls. Also, Real player does not work at all...

I installed Pocket Tunes and MMPlayer. They work fine and smooth.
This device is great !!!
