Hello all,
I've got Quicken Personal Plus 2002 installed on my laptop. After hearing that you can get pocket quicken for the palm i decided to get that as well.
The problem i have is that pocket quicken keeps crashing my Sony. Also none of the info syncs between the sony and the laptop. Im assuming that pocket quicken 2.0 is not compatible with palm OS 5 yet. Anyone else have this problem?
In saying this, anyone use anything else that is compatible with the laptop version of quicken?

I have Quicken 2002 on my PC and Pocket QUicken 2.03 on my NX-60 and they work together just fine. Only PQ 2.03 is compatible with OS5.

Hello :) I can assure you that version 2.03 is working worderfully on my NX! I remember having a couple of issues getting started though. One involved the Quicken password, and the FAQ on the Pocket Quicken website walked me through that one. Just a few other things I've noticed, however... it seems that if you sync a transaction to your laptop and subsequently sync again without accepting the transaction on your laptop, the NX will hang during the second hotsync. I believe this has happened enough for me to single that out as the culprit. Also, I know that certain Quicken product for the PC won't sync with Pocket Quicken. Quickbooks is one of them, but I don't remember seeing anything about your particular version of Quicken. It would be worth looking into however:rolleyes:

If they take international orders at PalmGear, you can get it here...

I have pocket quicken 2.03 on my nx60 and also on my wife's t415. Before I could not get her to enter transaction on the pda. Now, she does not even have the paper check register anymore. All our transactions are entered via the pdas and hot sync to Quicken 2003 at home. Pocket quicken is a very useful tool to manage our finances.

Ok, i found quicken 2.03 and installed it on my device. the installation program advised me to do two syncs. one to install the program and the other one to sync to my pc.
on the second sync the hotsync manager came up with this error message:
Beginning Pocket Quicken 2.0 Sync
An error has occurred (err #6)
Problem: Cannot load a required Quicken DLL or find a required Quicken entry point.
Solution: Re-run the Pocket Quicken installer to reinstall the required file
Additional Information:
Unable to open a transaction posting session
Pocket Quicken 2.0 synchronization failed
I did as the error message stated, i.e. re-installed pocket quicken but this error message still came up. i then decided to look at the quicken site only to find that only certain versions of PC quicken were supported by pocket quicken and that my version (australian) is not.
my question is: anyone know if there is a workaround? it looks like im missing certain files. anyone know what they are?
any help would be most appreciated as i really need a 'portable' finance program to work hand in hand with Quicken Personal Plus 2002.

My Pocket Quicken works great on the NX. The free phone support for Pocket Quicken is outstanding, so you might wish to try it.

If you look hard enough on Landware's website, you'll see that only the U.S. version of Quicken is supported by Pocket Quicken.
Sorry for the bad news :(
