What do you guys think about the Treo 600?This is what I think;
PROS :D ;
Fantastic form factor,longer stylus,SD/MMC expansion which is SDIO,Tri-Band,1800mAh battery,32MB,Palm OS5.2.1,one can SMS directly from the address book,easy to set up Treo mail,picture caller ID
CONS :( ;
Wattery effect when screen is pressed with fingers or stylus,poor grainy screen,160x160 resolution,no Graffitti 2 input,a bit too small keyboard (I play the guitar so I can't use my right thumb to thumbtype,poor camera resolution
Can't think of anything else at this moment.

Have you tried Graffitti Anywhere to input graffitti, or is the only input through the keyboard? Without Graffitti, I doubt I'll buy this machine.

Grafitti Anywhere is reported to work, but there are reports of problems with it recognizin character input.
You can try alternatives, though:
Newpen (http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/newpen.shtml) freeware
Jot (http://www.cic.com/products/jot/) Commercial

The screen/graffiti thing is really dissapointing in what would otherwise be a really nice smartphone.

It has G2, but handspring left out the code that lets you input it on the screen. Grafitti anywhere (a new version came out claiming to fix the t600 problems) or Newpen fixes this.

If Grafitti works on this device, I might be sold. I would like a better screen, but oh well. Ideally, I would like a T3 format with expandable screen and integrated Treo 600 features. That would be my ultimate device!!!!

I've just moved from my old Clie T615 to the Treo 600 and I am loving it! I always carried my mobile and PDA everywhere, and I guess now I still do, but both in one better package. Though the screen isn't high res (sigh!) it is surprisingly clear and pleasant to look at. I'm loving the extra memory and I am getting used to the keyboard. It functions better than ¨

can you map hard keys from the keyboard to launch applications and control functions? on the TG-50, many of us were also using the hard keys to control the media player. i.e. (Play, rewind, fast forward, pause, vol up, vol down) with the hard keys. Since i'm planning to continue using the Treo 600 as my mp3 player, can you do the same thing with the Treo?

I do have the Grafitti Anywhere 1.45 installed and it does work somewhat. I have the activation set to hard button one which is the phone button. Set it for press and hold.
This allows me to draw and the trace feature is working. The funny thing is that it seems to be slightly different than the Grafitti 1. I have never used G2 to know if this is what is being used.
I have enjoyed using the keyboard though and will leave this on my T600 to see if I really need the grafitti at all.
