DVD software

I'd like to take a couple of my DVDs and convert them to Kinoma format so I can watch them on my T3. Specifically, I'd like to convert my Simpson's collection. What is a good piece of software that will rip my DVDs into a format that Kinoma can convert? I've been to several software stores and the shelves are full of DVD copy s/w but none of their boxes says that they convert to any other format.
