Is there an application or hack that will take a screenshot of my clie nz90 screen/desktop? So that I can show other people what my Palm Desktop looks like?

ScrShot works cool, its shareware:

Theres also a hack out there as well you can use with Hackmaster but I prefer this.

I use HRCaptDA. The price is great: FREE. You can download and get the tutorial from LaunchPlug (http://www.launchplug.com/HRCaptDA.html).

HRCaptDA is great. runs perfect on my NX and I have never once had a problem with it. highly recommended.

rhart00 - what do you use to launch HRCaptDA ?

I'm following LaunchPlug's instructions and I have downloaded the freeware DA Launcher. But I can't get the launcher to run. I've defined the tap area (left of menu icon and right of find icon) but repeated taps do nothing to get the DA Launcher to pop up.

Has anyone had any luck with DA Launcher on the NX70 ?

Its very picky, in fact you have to tap inside the icon but to the very left (or right) edge....not to the left or right outside the icon like I thought when I read it. I also use SlowLaunch to launch DAs - works great as you can assign DAs and other functions to the hardware buttons (including the back and jog dial) its free....check it out.

If you the latest version of Bug Me, you can do screen shots and save them as notes.

Jim - I have the latest version of Bugme installed and was wondering how this is possible to do?? I didn't know it could do screen shots.

With ScreenShot, go to the "configure" screen in hackmaster -- or in ScreenShot Control, which shows up as a separate item -- and choose a "trigger stroke" that activates it. I have it set to snap a screenshot on a stroke from calculator to find. Just do that whenever you're at a screen you want to save and it saves it.

It saves bitmaps, which are pretty big. You can delete them in screenshot configure screen (or the screenshot control icon, which shows up separately) -- or they get deleted automatically when you sync. One thing I failed to do first time (and have since fixed) is specify a destination PC folder for the shots. If you don't do that, it will probably just throw them in the root hard drive directory.

You set the directory by going into the "custom" section of the Hotsync manager, select Screenshot and tap advance, then change the PC directory for syncing.
