Mmmm!
I've been an Agendus/Agendus Pro user ever since buying an m515 18 months ago. However, on reading about the double alarm issue with Agendus 6 on the T3 I decided to give DB5 a 'run out' (at least until Agendus 7 is released!).
I don't want to start an Agendus vs DB5 thread, but, having tried DB5, I still think Agendus is the more useful (if not as fully featured) PIM replacement, at least for my needs.
Although DB5's developer is working hard to sort the problem out, it would appear that conflicts with other apps are causing alarm issues when using DB5 on the T3 as well! This being the case, I decided to switch back to using Agendus.
Having installed only Agendus Pro 6 on my new T3 (having beamed the DateBkDB file from my T1), I was surprised to find that I don't have a double alarm issue, but rather a problem with no alarms for appointments at all! Alarms for Tasks work fine but alarms for appointments just won't sound.
I have noticed that if I go into the T3's Calendar app after entering an appointment in Agendus I do get the Calendar alert, but that's a bit of a longwinded work around just to set an alarm.
So, it looks like I'll have to make do with the just the built in PIM apps, and no icons, for a couple of weeks, until Iambic release Agendus 7.
Is anyone else suffering from the same problem?
