hi to all! i have a bluetooth-enabled PDA & mobile phone & i want to connect them wirelessly thru my desktop PC running windows XP. any suggestions on the best bluetooth USB adapter? specifically, my devices are a palm tungsten T3 & a nokia 3650. im hoping to get a BT adapter which can connect with as little problem as possible on my BT devices(hotsync on my PDA, data transfer/sync on my phone, etc.). i'd really appreciate responses from experienced users(bluetooth gurus). thanks in advance!

Hi, i have a Belkin model F8T003, working flawlesly since Oct 5
i bought in CompuUSA around 19 Bux
the only thing i sugest , is buy an extension USB Cable.
Inserting directly to the CPU reduce a lot the range of coverage
and BTW have a nice blinking blue led near to my 3com hub

Hello,
i´m using Acer Bluetooth USB Dongle Class1 (BT-700).
It works as expected.
I know the MSI PC2PC-Dongle too, no big difference IMO.
Installation is easy with both.

Don't buy an Epox BTDG02A.
It's supposed to be a class one device (100 m), but the range is really disappointing.

I have been unable to get my 3Com Bluetooth USB dongle to share my internet connection with my T3. I am running Win2k. I must have read 10 different walkthroughs and countless posts about getting ICS to work, but nothing has helped thus far.

Try Mocha PPP
not the best solution, but works for me
i intend to try Mergic VPN, if anyone already test this prg
let me know

Well I bought a dongle set (2) from a company on e-Bay.
I thought the price was very good, and the range appears to be of a nice distance.
I have not received them as of yet so I cant really say if they are good or not.
I spoke to them via emails and they told me of all the BlueTooth dongles that they sell these have the best chip setting and range.
They also said that they have not received many returns on these.
I have been looking or a brand name but cant seem to be able to find any on the auction ad.
Guess I will have to wait until they arrive.
Hopefully they will be what I expect them to be.
Will advise.

I also tried the Mocha PPP and the Softick PPP, neither of which worked. I kept getting timeout errors, etc. and even going into the details for my connection and modifying the Send, Delay, etc. commands didn't work. I asked the admin here at work and he said it couldn't be the firewall.
