Palm IIIc Display Issue

Hi!

A friend of mine just got a used Palm IIIc off Ebay. Turned out that the unit has some display issues... it seems to have a weak contact on the left side, just above the grafitti area. Does anybody else have the same problem and does anybody know a fix for it (besides getting a new display).

Haven't seen that problem, I've had a IIIc since it came out... take a look on this site http://www.pdaparts.com/ I believe they have repair instructions that may be handy.
