Split Second, by David Baldacci. It's a pretty good book, but not his best.
Before that, I read both of the Dan Brown books mentioned earlier. The DaVinci Code may have been my favorite of all time, and Angels & Demons was almost as good. Great reads!!

I have not seen that one available in a legal format. As far as I am aware, neither Harry Potter nor LOTR are legally available in electronic format.

Nevertheless, they can still be read.
I own paper copies of LOTR, and reread them all two years ago in text format on my Clie. I hope you don't want me to feel bad about that.
I also bought "The Wolves of Calla" the hour it was released from PalmDigitalMedia, and bought the hardback as well yesterday. Buying a book twice is silly, but there are some first-ed hardback copies you must have. If a free (and yes, illegal) electronic copy had been available, I would have downloaded it to read while the paper version sat next to me in the dark.
Go figure.

I am currently reading the Honor series from Baen books (free), and I have just picked up copies of the first ten books of the Left Behind series in ebook format and am looking to reread the first five and explore five new ones. However, I think that books 11/12 are out now, so I will have to get those later.

Sounds like you will be busy for a while. ;)
I have all the Shannara books from Terry Brooks except Mogwar. I started re-reading the series with The Sword about 2 years ago and finished First King a few months ago. After the first of the year I will get into Isle Witch.

No kidding! There are thirteen books in the free Honor series, and I just picked up the first ten ebooks of the twelve in the Left Behind series. They were on the ILumina Edition of the Left Behind Interactive Software Companion.

Does anyone know where I can find ebooks by C.S. Lewis? I would like to read various works, but would like to revisit the Narnia series to see if it's right of my son. Is the Narnia series public domain yet?

I just finished "Why America Slept" by Gerald Posner. You can get it at Palm Digital Media.
Excellent view of all the things that could have happened, but didn't, to prevent the tragedy of 9-11.
One of the best books I've read lately and hightly recommended.

Jiu San (A Doc Savage adventure).
The Doc Savage series are great short eBooks with mindless action-adventure topics that are entertaining (and not much else). About 140 available at Blackmask.

MY DS10 discovered them last fall, and he got the full (dead tree) set for Christmas.

Darn. Thanks, YR. I'm glad that he enjoyed them. I remember reading them when I was about 10. My son is on 10 months, so it will be a while before he really understands them. However, I would like to read them to him at bedtime. Okay, so it really gives me a good excuse to read them myself. :o
BTW: YR, which Honor book are you currently reading. I'm on #7 of 13, In Enemy Hands.

And you're right. 10 months is a *leetle* young to read the books, but I'm sure he'll love hearing your voice while you read them out loud, regardless. :) You sound like a good dad. Most parents don't read to their babies. I read to my youngest that early, and he was reading before Kindergarden. It's amazing how 'absorbent' young minds are.
