View Full Version : Documents to Go problem... need help

Hi,
I got Documents to Go and since last week, without installing any new staff, the excel sheets started to crash my NR.
I reinstalled all the Documents to Go soft without any success (Yes, I got the last version).
the Words documents are OK, but when I try to view an excel one, I need to reset my NR :(
Any Ideas ?

Try running a virus scan doesnt sound good. could be corrupted file. Did you try www.dataviz.com/documents?

Can you tell me a little more about the crash? What happens? What error message appears, if any?

I'm currently having the same problem, although with WordToGo. It even goes so far as LauncherX crashing whenever the icon is on the open tab.
I just deleted all the apps and docs and I'm going to go through the files to make sure there are no remnants, then try a clean install.
You didn't by chance delete a DTVZTEMP file did you?
Are running the apps off the MS?
How about the documents?

I deleted all the TEMP files ( each time I crash the clie I get one).
I'm running all the applications besides the main one from the MS, some from the launcher folder and the rest (fonts and libs) using PiDirect II. I have to say that until now, without any problem.
and Yes, all my documents are on the MS as well. The intresting part is that only the excel files have the problem while the word ones I can use without any kind of problem.

Hi all,
After deleting all the files and re-installing all the software and documents again, it is working.
I deleted everything, including the folder in the MS. I also deleted all the documents from the windows application and introduced them again. Only after that, it start working.
I still don't have a clue about what was wrong...

I did the same thing (delete from both Clie and MS, and then reinstall) with the same results (it works now). I had this same problem several months ago, and my wife has been complaining about the same thing but I've been putting it off (bad exiii!) - time to fix hers too.
In the past, I've deleted all the docs and reinstalled them from the desktop, but that never fixed the problem. Only a complete delete and reinstall seems to work.
Strange.
