I, too, would like to know. I didn't much care before, but I'm probably going to be buying a laptop, which means I'm probably going to set up a wireless network in my home. As such, I would really like a unit with wifi capabilities, but I don't really care for the TC, and the UX from Sony seems way overpriced. I guess I really have no need for wifi on my handheld, but if I have a wireless network, I wouldn't mind hooking as many devices to it as I could.

Should be less expensive than 1GB MS Pro, right? :)
I bought my 1GB MS Pro @ USD650 on last 3 months ago

I thought I saw somewhere that that card was for a PPC unit???
Anyway I also thought that there were no drivers to be found as of yet?

Right! edeab220 already said we're waiting for the Palm OS5 drivers. The card will be the same for either PPC or Palm. The difference is the drivers.

also, how far will the disk extend out of the top of the T3 and is anyone concerned about damaging the card with the problems I have read about the T3 damaging SD cards??

Thanks

why would a T3 damage the card? you'd probably damage it just as easily in any PDA that the top of it sticks out of (which would be most i'd think).

What I am refeering to is the frequent posts about the T3 leaving the memory card inoperable. If I recall the Wifi card comes with some memory (128mb) I am concerned about purchasing the card and not being able to use it. Check the forums, there have been problems with some sandisk cards.

There are two versions of the card, one with memory and one without it (only wifi). If I remember correctly the only one available now (even for PPC's) is the no-memory one. I don't know if the T3 could damage the one without memory, but I sure don't plan to be the first one to find out!

The WiFi card with memory will be out in early 2004 with 256MB of RAM too.

Hey, where's your sense of adventure???:D
