Outlook 2003 question

I am trying to use outlook 2003 with my T3. After installing the conduits and all updates from palm's website I cannot sync correctly. I get an error that simply says that calendar, tasks and so on "failed to sync". I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Palm and they were unable to solve the problem saying they would "call back'. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Palm desktop and I also did a Hard reset and started from scratch on my Palm with no positive results. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Did you install the Outlook conduit update? The update should support Outlook 2003.

a bit of a 'wag' here but my outlook 2002 has a Help/Detect & Repiar option off the menu bar. Would thnk outlook 2003 has same. give it a try if u have not done so as yet and then c if u can sync.

teerexx52 - I am having the same issue. I have not been able to sync Outlook since I got this thing...It just locks up and I have to cancel the hotsync. I have disabled the calendar and contacts applications in the setup menu, and it syncs fine with all programs including Versamail which I have syncing with Outlook??? I can't figure it out???

Oh by the way I'm using Outlook 2002 and am connected to my work's network. I have not tried it unhooked, but since Versamail syncs with outlook seemlessly I don't think that is the issue....

Magik: I know. I wanted the T3 just for syncing to Outlook 2003...Well not the only reason but a big one. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with Palm (my nickel I think) but they could not solve the problem. They said someone would call me back but it would take awhile. if they didn't call back at all to call them. Does not sound too encouraging. I am wondering what PDA out there now does sync with Outlook 2003? Maybe its a pocket pc???? I am considering my other options as I am disappointed.

I'm not sure if the problem is exclusive to Outlook 2003, since mine is 2002....I never had an issue with syncing my NR70V with this computer though??? The only thing I can think of is that there are conflicts resulting from having the CLIE software on this computer...Although I did unistall all of it....Good news is that I am getting a new work laptop on Friday so I will be able to do a fresh install on that which I hope will resolve the issue...I'll keep ya posted...In the meantime I'm trying to uninstall everything and reinstall as I haven't attemped this yet....

Upgraded to Outlook 2003, downloaded the updated conduits and have had no problems at all synching.
