Does anyone know if the power cable for the Palm Vx Cradle is compatable with the Tungsten T3 Cradle?

I am about to purchase a Tungsten T3 from the US which has a 120v AC adaptor supplied, but will need it to use a 240v one for Australia. I have an old Vx, and am hoping that the power cable can also be used on the newer T3 cradle.

Otherwise anyone know where I can get a 240v AC power cable for the cradle?

Thanks!

Really? Damn...

Is the connector from the Vx power cable to the RS232 plug on the Vx cradle different to the one required for the T3 cradle, or is it a voltage output incompatibility?

Thanks for your help.

I believe the plug is different. The newer ones are called the Palm Universal Connector. The older PDA connectors are different and can't be used!

Yeah, I'm familiar with the newer "Palm Universal Connector" - but what I am referring to is the power cable which plugs into the back of the Palm Universal Connector (cradle).

In the previous Vx cradle, the power thingy plugged into the serial port plug (which is attached to the cradle). With the new Palm Tungsten, the power cable attaches directly into the back of the Cradle....

What I was hoping I could do is use the Vx power cable and plug it into the back of the Tungsten cradle.

It seems that this may now not be possible.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
