?: 10/28/03 - best deal on a T3 with Extended warranty

OK. I'm looking to buy now.

I want an extended warranty this time - if something does go wrong I'd like to be able to get a current model.

I can get it at Dell today for $334, but there is no exchange warranty, so that's out.

Any others?

What if you did that and bought PALM'S extended warranty. You should look at it but I think it covers one exchange and a screen replacement. I think this might be the route I take with my next Palm.

I didn't even know palm had an exchange policy - I'll look into it.

But as described, a renewable policy such as Bestbuy's or CircuitCity's is still much more attractive than Palm. I think OfficeMax's even covers screen breakage.I've had something go wrong on every PDA I've owned for more than six months - I might as well take advantage of that fact, even if I have to pay full retail for the unit.
