Adding pictures to a post?

How do I add pictures to my post? They are pictures I have taken with my webcam, so they are stored on my hard drive, not on a website on the internet. Thanks.

I just create a free website (there's a lot out there) then just upload pictures there. If your site there gets shut down eventually, it doesn't really matter.
