Aren't you worried about auto battery surges?
I had a friend that a PDA plugged into his cig lighter of his car.
The alternator must of surged and he no longer had a PDA until he purchased a new one...
Be careful.
Now his car wasn't a American made auto but I am not sure that's the reason.
Any car can surge DC

Shouldn't the fuse in the DC adapter prevent that? I would think that the surge should not be sufficient to jump the fuse before it blew.

Well not in this case.
It also would depend on what your lighter is measured for.
What if the fuse is higher then what the PDA can handle.
My lighter is on the same circuit as a lot of the car accessories for the factory.
I would have to think that the fuse is rather high...
But who can tell without looking at it first.
Guess that would be my advise check the rating of the fuse before hooking a DC charger to anything...
Just a suggestion.

That's way I choose USB cable for charging :) The USB only draw less than 9V power but it really slow for full cycle charge

Hey Gremlin, do you use any underclocking with your TT3? Like PXA Clocker or Lightspeed? I'm curious how long your would last using that. I have just used mine for PIMs only on any given day and it has stayed at 100% at days end.

Is the battery a smart battery?
If you keep it in the charger for most of the time until your mobile will that help or hurt the battery life?
