T3 and mac hotsync woes

I have been trying to hotsync, and initially everything goes fine, then I retry to sync and need to soft reset to get it to hotsync. I have disabled the ISYNC Mac software. I have deleted my origanal user name and this a.m. I installed just the bible programs and files that I use and no system add on's , ( code diver ect.)

Anyone have any suggestions.

What version MacOS are you using and is it with PalmDesktop 4.1?

Palm Desktop 4.1

I previously had , ( and still own a Sony Clie 615T , )

There were issues with the first posted update of MacOSX10.2.8. Apple removed the link after a couple of days. The latest update cured the problem. Do you have the first or latest 2.8 update?

Do not install 10.3 just yet. There are major issues with PD 4.1.

mac os x 10.2.6 is the currently supported os version.
Per palm support line.

Are you running ICAL or ISYNC?
I don't have them running and all I had to do was install from t3's cd and down load my entourage conduit.

Are you os 9 or os X? and what version. Min Version is 10.02.6.

I currently am running 10.2.8, waiting to install 10.3

I'm using my T/3 with Panther. Don't know if this will help any one. Also I'm not using the desktop from Palm but iCal.
1. Did clean install of Panther + all Apple software updates which included iSync 1.3
2. Did Repair Disk Permissions
3. Down loaded Palm desktop from the T/3 cd
4. Down loaded iSync Palm conduct.
5. Did HotSync.
Make sure you do a back of all your info either to your palm unit ,iDisk or burn a cd before installing Panther. Hope this helps.
