Simple. Since May 1996, my Pilot (err Palm) has been my second brain.

This poll should really let you choose more than one -- I started off with a Palm IIIxe wanting organization, but now I use it for entertainment (games), information & reference (AvantGo & ebooks), and as Vidge says, a second brain.
I don't bother to memorize anything anymore -- it all goes in my handheld.

I agree. I use it for pretty much all of the above! :)

Same here, I would choose all of the above as well if I could.

I am with ya, Vidge... my friends actually got me a T-Shirt saying "pinky" and a Palm sleeve saying "brain" for my birthday... kind of says it all... dunno what will happen to me if I ever loose my spare brain :-)

I would have chosen multiple reasons, but not ALL... Organization had to top the list though...
I replaced my Sharp Wizard with my first Palm, a IIIx. The Sharp Wizard replaced a paper planner (DayTimer). So, initially the reason was to get/stay organized, but now I also like to have some entertainment with me as well.

A better question would be, "Why *don't* you use a PDA?"
