In the settings for white balance, what is difference between

incandescent and flourescent lighting?


Which one means indoors? Why dont they just say indoors..lol

incandescent lighting is yellow lighting and flourescent is white ligthing or in other terms incandscent are regular light bulbs and flourescent are the long white tubes

indoors can be different at work than at home... if they (sony) just said indoors as you asked in the original post, then indoors at work (w/ flourescent) would be very different than indoors at home (with incandescent).
