Auto-Power Off - longer?

Is there any way to lengthen the amt. of time for the auto power off feature? 3 mins. is not enough for me, especially since I have keylock and security on so it's a pain in the butt to restart?

use dimmer.. u can set the auto off feature as long as u want.. in seconds... and it even adds the profile feature for ur backlights as well as auto off.. that way u can set maybe "internet" when auto off is set to off... or "economic" when u want ur auto off to be set faster... or "middle" where u set da dimmer to go off after 30 sec and maybe the auto off at 5 mins... u can set it anyway u want...^^ hopes tis help...

i heard a lot of people talking about dimmer, so is it a application thats come with palm??

Hate to say it, but no, Energy Dimmer doesn't come with palm. And me being the cheapo I am, I'm not willing to spend $10 bucks for a feature that I thought would be built in to the palm pilot

I think that you can use CoolDAs (free) + any DA launcher (a lot of free ones)

Look for AutoDimmer on Palmgear, it's freeware. It installs as a preference and allows to dim the screen to the point where the backlight is completely off (on my wife's T|E). I whish it would do that om my T|3 as well. To change the auto power off, there is AutoOn (http://www.persicke.de). This is also freeware and allows to change the poweroff timer to more values (including "never").
